Counter-Strike Wiki Forum!

Hello,

The Counter-Strike Wiki now has a forum that can be used to get the latest wiki news, discuss the wiki, suggest things, get help, and more! It's intended to be a safe and fun way for contributors to discuss things, help the wiki, and generally relax.

Talk pages are a good way of communicating with one person, but they don't have as much freedom, and lack beneficial features that the forum has. We hope the forum will be used by contributors to communicate more freely with fellow contributors in an open, but controlled, environment.

This thread will be used to test one of the features of the forum -- a highlight system, that allows administrators to notify all logged in users of a thread. We will be using it for news and announcements, as well as any important discussions in the future. There's also a kudos system that allows you to "like" or support a post, so give it a try, and show that you care!

Before using the forum, please read the board guidelines/forum policies/frequently asked questions page, which can be accessed by clicking the button at the top right of the forum index (linked above).

Contributors, community, and communication are key to a wiki's success, and the forum should vastly help with all three of these things. Start posting, voice your opinions, be heard, and help make the Counter-Strike Wiki as good as we all know it can be!

Yes, I agree. In fact, Wiki users receive notifications if someone newly replies to a Forum post which I like.

You only receive a notification if you're following the thread (top right of the original post) or if it's highlighted by an administrator, though that will only notify you once.

I guess so but luckily the traffic to this wiki is slow and unprovoked which means bringing attention to the forum is only necessary if it's a new suggestion or topic?

It's a message wall that discusses about certain topics about improving or talking about the wiki.

Yeah, so far, there hasn't been that much activity in the Forums but in time, more users will become interested.
