Our wiki needs to get start working!
I have to agree with ConTraZ. I also lack interest in this new operation, mainly because overall, CS:GO feels more like Battlefield and Call of Duty.
It doesn't help the previous operation gave drops for every mission, instead of just 5 per campaign.
It doesn't help I'm stuck with playing one mission a day, despite the game saying we can do two a day. (Meaning you deplete one "mission" if you start it and do not complete it in one match).
You only get one mission a day. You start with two, and get one each day after the release.
Missions are paused between matches, so one mission can take many matches to complete. You can also switch between missions, and it will save the mission's place.
The link between the terrorist group in the operation and the Phoenix Connexion may not actually be related. Although Phoenix Connexion is "based" in Eastern Europe, characters from the operation refer to the Valeria's group as "The Phoenix."
Whoever added the information originally, made the connection and no one has bothered to change it.
The terrorist groups are most likely related. All the characters (except Turner) are Eastern European. Also, the Phoenix Connexion seem like the most popular faction because they feature in more maps than any other faction. "The Phoenix" group is the main group in most operations (Op. Phoenix, Op. Vanguard, Op. Bloodhound and probably more) according to flavor text and Bloodhound briefings.
