SMGs are only useful in early rounds and rounds where you don't have a lot of money. Try using the AUG or the SG553 if you have bad accuracy.

Generally you want to buy good pistols when you have low money rather than SMGs because you can 1-shot a headshot, SMGs cannot do this. You can go for kills on people with rifles if you have a good pistol.

If the enemy team is buying pistols, that is when you buy an SMG. It's good at close range like pistols, and if the enemy picks it up from killing you it won't be valuable against the rifles you can buy on next round. You should buy the AUG or SG 553 because you can scope at long ranges which is useful on Dust 2.

M4 and m4a1s have easy spray patterns, all you have to do is pull down slightly after your first 2 shots. their spray patterns are like a "T" shape rather than the ak's "7" shape pattern if that makes sense
