Now, with time, we've been discovering a lot more cut content for the franchise.
Counter-Strike is wildly known for its game play. Lore hasn't played a major role in it and has only been added in increments through the latest operations. But there's an element of the series that's as rich as the lore itself, not to say more: It's how the games themselves were made and the story behind each of them, and Counter-Strike is extremely big on it.
Unfortunately, we're going to have to face the reality of things: nowadays, the Counter-Strike fan base is mainly focused on Global Offensive. The older games are not entirely dead but they're not as shining as they were (again, not entirely).
Our to-do list with cut content has massively increased and the task is not going to be any easier as it involves contacting big corporations that are extremely busy and/or have cut support for the games and content in question. Or sometimes ask for content that is no longer available, publicly or no longer exists.
The list:
-Contact Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford and request the playable version of their Condition Zero build (preferably with development notes and concepts)
-Contact Valve Software and request support on the previous request while also requesting the models, textures, sounds or even playable versions of the Alpha version of CS:GO (PAX 2011 version included)
-Contact Microsoft and request all the content related to the XBOX Counter-Strile's website along with videos and the playable version of the beta version of said game.
-Get a hand on Rogue Entertainment's work on the series as no publications were ever made of it.
As you can see, these are extremely hard tasks and may require a lot more contributor and reader support than we are getting. For those who are reading or read this, help us.
Co-creator of the series, Jess Cliffe, still working at Valve, may be our best chance at getting support from the company that owns the franchise and hoping that he may be willing to give it or even pay attention to us.
We could even go as far as demanding Valve to move away from Wikia and make an official Counter-Strike Wiki, but that's another topic.
Thank you for reading this and I hope to hear from anyone.
