The CS:GO Weapon Case is the first weapon case introduced in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in the Arms Deal update on August 14th, 2013 along side the eSports 2013 Case. The case is a rare drop after matches on VAC secure servers, containing nine weapon finishes created by Valve & the very first cosmetic knives in Arms Deal finishes. The case introduced the Case Hardened weapon finish, available on the AK-47 & several knives, which have the potential to come in highly sought after "blue gem" patterns. The case requires a CS:GO Case Key to open, the same key as the successor CS:GO Weapon Case 2. The front of the case shares the same art work as the Tactics Pin from the Collectible Pins Capsule Series 1 & the Perfect World default avatar.
