Chateau (de_chateau) is the tenth map in Tour of Duty campaign of Counter-Strike: Condition Zero.

Overview

Bomb Defuse Scenario: Your Team must prevent the Terrorists from detonating their bomb at one of the bomb sites. To win, defuse the bomb or eliminate all of the Terrorists.

Strategy for Tour of Dutys

• The map's mission consists of "Kill two or three enemies with the M249", which on Hard and Expert difficulty comes with the additional requirement of not dying along the way, and as the M249 is the most expensive weapon in the game, it's obviously not wise to buy it at Round 01 and try to fight Hard, Very Hard, or even Expert level enemies with it, so consider completing the mission as the final objective of the map.
• If, at a later round, you're ready to complete an M249 kill task but you don't have enough money to buy an M249, then you might consider following your machine gunner teammates (Cole,Lou or Bear if they have the money to buy an M249) and following them until they die and pick up their M249, or you can TK them, but be warned that TKing leads to a penalty, and you'll end up in an even worse economic crisis the next game if you don't finish the task in time to finish the mission with their M249 after you've TK'ed them.
• It is recommended to complete the "Kill enemies blinded by flashbangs and survive the situation" mission by dropping flashbangs indoors or in corners where the terrorists may be hiding after they have planted bomb.alternatively, when the terrorists take the waterway to attack Bombsite A, throw a flashbang around the corner into the waterway they're coming from and jump out to take care of the blinded ones after the flashbang goes off.
• The AWP may in some cases be a better kill option than the mission required kill weapon, the M249, and after completing the M249 kill mission, the AWP can be used to save up for the "10 enemies kills" on Hard difficulty or "16 enemies kills" on Expert difficulty.
