Favela is a custom bomb defusal map featured in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive's Operation Payback and Operation Phoenix.
On the October 13, 2016 Update, the map was removed from the game files, making Favela inaccessible via console.

The map takes place inside of an impoverished Rio de Janeiro favela.

Favela was created by "Rick" and uploaded to the Maps Workshop on January 28, 2013. It, along with six other maps, were released as a part of Valve's Operation Payback. Only minor gameplay tweaks have been made since its initial release.
It was selected by Valve to be included in the game again as a part of Operation Phoenix.
