Franz Kreigeld is the leader of Kreigeld Industries (which owns the cement plant that was turned into the Phoenix Compound). He collaborates with the Phoenix Connexion, and informs Valeria of a traitor, Imogen, who is supplying information to the Coalition Taskforce that made it possible for them to attack the Phoenix Compound and rescue Alex Kincaide.
