Overview

Jungle Compound (cs_junglecompound)[1] was a hostage rescue map that was featured in Counter-Strike: Condition Zero during its development.

Overview[]

Despite being a jungle themed map, there was very little actual jungle present in this map.[2] Most of the map space was occupied by a large log cabin where most of the action would take place.[2]

Development[]

Jungle Compound was designed by Alex Gingell when Gearbox Software was developing Counter-Strike: Condition Zero.[3] The map made very limited media appearances during Gearbox Software's involvement in the development of Condition Zero, and only a few screenshots are known to exist.

After the development of Counter-Strike: Condition Zero was handed over to Ritual Entertainment, the map is presumed to have been scrapped.
