Lunacy

Lunacy (ar_lunacy) is a Flying Scoutsman and Arms Race map added during Operation Shattered Web in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

Overview

This map is placed in a hangar, with a fake roof supposed to represent the moon's sky.

Behind the Scenes

• This map uses shaders that are not available in the current version of the Source Hammer Editor, using ported features from Source 2.^[1].

Trivia

• At first glance, the map appears to be set on the moon, but a hole in the ceiling reveals that the map is actually on Earth.
  • Through the hole a distant mountain can be seen, upon which stands a "LOLLYWOOD" sign.
    • This is a reference to the "HOLLYWOOD" sign in Hollywood California.
