The Money (or Cash stack[1]) is a pickup added in the May 31, 2016 update to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. It was later released in the December 6, 2018 Danger Zone update.
Overview[]
The Money pickup can be found in Danger Zone game mode while exploring the map, either on the ground or behind money-locked gates. (These gates will have a price of $0.) Picking up the item will give the player $50.
If the player walks over the pickup with fists equipped, a special animation showing the player taking the money with their hands will be played.
When the player dies in said game mode, several cash pickups will fall from their body. The amount dropped depends on the amount of time elapsed in the game.
