The Money Bag (or "Duffbag"[1]) is a pickup added in the May 31, 2016 update (game files only) to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. It was later released officially in the December 6, 2018 Danger Zone update.
Overview[]
The Money Bag can be found on various locations on Danger Zone maps. They contain a varying number of Money pickups, from three to a maximum of five. The maximum number of money bags that can appear in any Danger Zone game is twelve. The player can extract the money pickups in two ways. First, by holding the USE key, the player can extract the money pickups one at a time and without making sound audible to other players; once all the money pickups extracted, the money bag disappears. Second, the player may damage the bag - this will make noise other player may hear - until it breaks, after which all the money pickups will spawn around the former location of the bag; the player can then pick them up.
