Fortunately, it looks like Valeria's merry band of psychopaths is back in business, and that means so are we. Felix will be coordinating the ops on the ground, and I've been asked slash told to be on briefing duty until I learn some humility. I got my coffee, some mission briefings, and a text from Felix saying if I screw this up I'll be looking for work, so I'd say we are ready to go. Welcome to Operation Hydra... I'll try to not get you killed.”

Introduced as part of Operation Hydra, the Hydra campaign is a campaign available to the player as part of the operation.
Overview[]
The Hydra campaign is made up of many missions of varying difficulty. It focuses on Guardian mode. Players will have to complete mission with a friend to defend the world from the Phoenix.
If players fail a Hydra mission four times in a row then the difficulty will be lowered. When the difficulty is lowered, dead players will respawn at 65 health and armor (if the mission enabled armor) instead of 50 health and 50 armor, and living layers will also regenerate 65 health instead of 50.
If the team fails for the sixth time, then the difficulty will be lowered again. Living players regenerate to full health upon round completion and dead players will have full health and armor when respawned.
If the team fails for the eighth time, Heavy Phoenix enemies (if there is any in the mission) will spawn in later waves than their original spawn.
