Introduced as part of Operation Wildfire, the Wildfire campaign is the first campaign available to the player as part of the operation.

The Wildfire campaign is made up of many missions of varying difficulty.

Unused content

• There are three briefing audio files prefixed with "Op07" that have gone unused in the operation.
  • One refers to Sebastien Hennequet from the previous operation and Kotaro Izaki from the Gemini campaign, stating that the mission would be "more up Kotaro's alley", suggesting the usage of shotguns.
  • The second discusses the molotov. It may be that the file was intended to play when starting the mission "Who Likes Fire?", but was left out for reasons unknown.
  • The third talks about using the weapons of teammates, similar to the mission "Sharing Is Caring".

Trivia

• "Who Likes Fire?" and "They Don't Need It Anymore" are the first and only missions since the Operation Vanguard campaigns to not have briefings.
