Pick'Em Challenges allow users pick participating teams during major tournaments for points towards an event coin.

Pick'Em Selection Screen for the IEM Rio 2022 Challengers Stage
During specially selected Valve sponsored events, players have the ability to participate in Pick'Em Challenges. Players can pick teams which will advance and win certain matches to earn points which contribute towards an event coin.
Before IEM Katowice 2019[]
Previously, players were required to obtain the stickers of the teams they wished to pick in the challenge. For the Challengers Stage, players would earn 1 point for each correct pick. The Group Stage would earn 3 points for each correct pick. For the Champions Stage, 12 points would be given for each correct quaterfinal pick, 10 points for each semifinal pick and 7 points for picking the winner of the grand final.
- Bronze Trophy - 25 Points
- Silver Trophy - 50 Points
- Gold Trophy - 75 Points
Since IEM Katowice 2019[]
Since IEM Katowice 2019, players are no longer required to purchase all of the stickers. However, in order to participate, users must purchase a Viewer Pass. The StarLadder Berlin 2019 viewer pass required some challenges in competitive matchmaking, excluding this event, for all other major events, the following challenges are required for a coin.
- Bronze Coin - 1-2 Challenges Complete
- Silver Coin - 3-5 Challenges Complete
- Gold Coin - 6-8 Challenges Complete
- Diamond Coin - All 9 Challenges Complete
The challenges regarding the Pick'Ems are as follows:
- Activate your coin before the tournament is over
- Place all nine Pick'Em predictions for the Challengers Stage before it begins
- Get five correct Pick'Em predictions for the Challengers Stage
- Place all nine Pick'Em predictions for the Legends Stage before it begins
- Get five correct Pick'Em predictions for the Legends Stage
- Place all seven Pick'Em predictions for the Champions Stage before it begins
- Place two correct Pick'Em predictions for the quaterfinals
- Place one correct Pick'Em prediction for the semifinals
- Make a correct Pick'Em prediction for the grand final
