Rockworld (fy_rockworld) was an experimental Counter-Strike: Source map for the community-popular Fight Yard game mode. The map was a remake of Iceworld.
Overview[]
The map is set in a space surrounded by stones with four large rocks in the middle. The objective of the map is to find the weapons scattered over the map and eliminate opposite team.
Development[]
Rockworld was made in 2004 by one of Valve's developers, Ido Magal, as an in-house test map and was never released in the game.[1] An overview screenshot of this map can be found in the game files.[2]
Although the Fight Yard mode was not released, another attempt was made to remake it in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive under the name "Scavenger".
