On the October 13, 2016 Update, the map was removed from the game files, making Season inaccessible via console.

―Map Description (OLD)

Season was originally an unofficial Counter-Strike: Source map created by Ted McIlwain to be used in CPL, CEVO, and CAL tournaments. It was a popular choice in professional tournaments.

Before Operation Vanguard, it was updated by the creator a first time and ported to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and remains a popular tournament map. This version features a more grounded and gritty appearance compared to its current iteration. The Terrorists are the Balkans while the Counter-Terrorists are the SWAT team.

The map's current iteration is the map's second overhaul, made with the help of FMPONE.
