Subzero (de_subzero) is a community-created bomb defusal map designed by Tanuki and FMPONE and is featured in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, added into the game in the October 9, 2018 update. It was later removed in the January 24, 2019 update.
Overview[]
Subzero takes place in an American naval base in the Arctic, owned by "Northern Expeditionary Reconnaissance Organization" and containing cargo of nuclear and biohazardous nature. Bombsite A is located near a fuel tanker, whilst Bombsite B is near a pipeline.
Trivia[]
- The Steam Workshop version of the map featured custom Arctic Avengers player models, but these were removed in the official version.
- One of the screens in CT Side Upper depicts a "VNN" news broadcast, referencing the Valve News Network[1].
